As time passed and new techniques came and went, I came across an article where embroiderers were adding crystals and metals to their embroidery design.  I thought that was kind of cool and started adding a crystal or two to designs.  As I researched this new technique, I found that other embroiderers were also doing motifs by hand.  Well I had to try it.  I bought a few supplies and started my hand at making custom motifs.  What a blast!!!  I love to do custom work because all people have different tastes and like different colors.  I don't charge extra to make a design a little different than the one I started with.  Some charge extra just to make a design in a different color than what their stock is.  Who likes to be the same as everyone else?  And why should you pay extra for that desired flair?
